This is an exciting opportunity to analyse donor behaviour across touchpoints and measure donor behaviours’ impact on business outcomes over time.

What we are looking for

NRC is seeking a highly qualified Donor Support Specialist Adviser with documented previous experience in donor journeys and communication.

What you will do

Some of your specific responsibilities include:

  • Monthly newsletter regular rhythm (in 3 countries).
  • Maintain welcome series for new donors.
  • Align with key events like neglected crisis, special campaigns, and emergency fundraising.
  • Define, act, and measure on targeted journeys like attrition prevention.
  • Align with others on tone of voice and key talking points when and where needed.
  • Further develop (existing and new) donor journeys with emphasis on loyalty metrics.
  • Key driver in marketing automation initiative.
  • Support Donor Service team (for example with talking points on challenging topics).
  • Align with other key stakeholders as needed, like those providing input to our Welcome Series.
  • Close alignment with Public Engagement and Global Fundraising in many areas as listed above.
  • Continuous assessment of what others are doing and the perception of what we are doing (benchmarking, etc.).
  • Support challenging topics that require donor communication (like Austria exit, GoCardless cancellations, etc,).
  • Own and reporting on key metrics like loyalty.
  • Always be looking for new and innovative ideas to engage our donors.

What you will bring

  • Relevant experience in donor journeys and communication.
  • Experience working with Salesforce.
  • Experience working with marketing automation tools like Mailchimp or Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience working with business analytics tool like Tableau.
  • Documented results in improving results and performance within donorcustomer lifecycle management.
  • Excellent data analytics and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English is mandatory.

What we offer

  • Duty station: NRC Oslo.
  • Contract: national contract, 9 months contract.
  • Salary/benefits: Grade 9 on NRC’s regional salary scale, with accompanying terms and conditions.
