Som en Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) har Com4 sitt eget kjernenett som kjører på vår Private Cloud / datasentre i Norge. Gjennom roamingavtaler tilbyr vi global IoT kommunikasjon på 2G-5G. Com4 skal videreutvikle teknologi- og tjenesteporteføljen for å fullt ut utnytte mulighetene utviklingen innen 5G og IT/Cloud gir. Vi har en ambisiøs innovasjonsagenda hvor kundene vil få mange fordeler ved å benytte en IoT spesialist, og det medfører mye spennende arbeid på IT siden med toppmoderne teknologi og verktøy.
Om rollen
Som System Engineer vil dine hovedoppgaver inkludere drifting av eksisterende virtuelle miljøer, Linux-servere, lagringsløsninger, containermiljøer og applikasjoner som kjøres der. Du vil også jobbe med videreutvikling av arkitektur og miljøene ved å designe kapasitetsutvidelse, erstatning av plattformer og introduksjon av nye plattformer. Videre vil du være ansvarlig for automatisering av prosesser, fra VM delivery, til service-chaining, CI/CD-pipelines og automatisk testing.

For å lykkes i denne stillingen, tror vi det er viktig at du liker å jobbe med både utvikling og drift i et DevOps-miljø. Videre er du komfortabel med å ta tak i hele spekteret av rollen, fra å designe et helt nytt K8-miljø, til å dra ut på datasenteret for å bytte deler i serverne. Vi ser etter deg som er løsningsorientert og uredd i møte med kompliserte oppgaver. Vi verdsetter gode samarbeids- og kommunikasjonsevner, samtidig som det er avgjørende å arbeide selvstendig og proaktivt på eget fagområde.

For å ytterligere forsterke vårt tekniske team, søker vi en System Engineer som har kompetanse på de fleste av følgende områder:


  • Linux (Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOs) administration
  • Kubernetes drift, for cloud-native microservices based apps
  • Database håndtering (MySQL, PGsql, Redis, Clickhouse)
  • Applikasjonsdrift (Apache, Nginx, Bind, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, SMTP, SNMP, NTP, Syslog)
  • Automatisering (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
  • Generell IT kompetanse, som scripting (Bash, Python, Perl)
  • Hands-on erfaring med drift av datasenterteknologier (server, nettverk, lagring, infrastruktur) og virtuelle miljøer (som VMware, ProxMox)
