Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
Aker Solutions is looking for a Senior Instrument Engineer with experience in onshore or offshore projects. The project can be led from Trondheim or Kristiansund.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead project planning and execution.Manage project delivery and resources.Provide engineering inputs to job packages.Develop offshore work instructions.Create as-builts of drawings and red line mark-ups.Report important matters to Discipline Lead and Engineering Manager.Ensure quality and HSSE in own projects.Identify changes and contribute to change requests.Perform general field instrument engineering, system engineering, automation and control engineering, Fire & Gas systems engineering, layout design, cable dimensioning, field instrumentation, valves, technical procurement activities, preparation of MTOs and requisitions, and installation job-card preparation.
Skills and Levels Description:
Minimum 5 years' experience in the oil and gas industry.Relevant degree such as Associate, Vocational, Bachelor's or Master's degree.Fluent in English, written and oral.Strong knowledge of offshore EIT installations and requirements.Experience in supplier coordination and follow-up.Proficient in creating as-builts of tags and drawings.Effective communication and teamwork.Expertise in estimation work and activity planning.Proficient in Microsoft Office and MicroStation.
