Job Description

Our trainee programme is a unique entry point into the world of renewables. During your time as a trainee, you will work on some of the toughest challenges within the energy sector, collaborate with some of the smartest minds in the industry, be offered world-class development and learning opportunities and be part of an exclusive network of ambitious young talents from across the world. You will also get the opportunity to apply for a seat on our CEO-led Future Board initiative – an advisory board made up of trainees and young professionals at Statkraft. Corporate HR is made up of business enablers who are the backbone to almost everything we do at Statkraft. This trainee position is within the Attraction and Mobility unit, responsible for recruitment, internal mobility, employer branding, onboarding, and early careers programs at a group level. Spread across Europe, our diverse team is passionate about attracting and nurturing talent, ensuring they thrive at Statkraft while enjoying dynamic and engaging workdays.

As Trainee within our Attraction & Mobility team, you will:

  • Learn about talent acquisition including the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle across Statkraft`s various business areas, countries, and specializations
  • Understand and learn why employer branding is so important both internally and externally in a company and how to do it effectively across the organization and different talent groups.
  • Participate in various local and global projects including adopting new tools and technology
  • Your rotations will include 2 within the Attraction & Mobility team (one of which being in another country) and your third will be in another HR Centre of Expertise team.

Qualifications

We are looking for recent graduates who are motivated to join us in leading the green energy transition. Below are some qualifications we believe are beneficial as a trainee at Statkraft:

  • Master’s degree within relevant areas such as HR, business/finance, organizational psychology, social sciences, or similar
  • No more than one year of work experience post education (excluding internships/part-time jobs) 
  • Strong and proven ability to collaborate with others and work as a team player
  • Curious and open minded towards different tasks and work environments 
  • Open to relocate during your trainee program for a period of 6 months
  • Fluency in English is required (other European languages are an asset)
