Abbott Diagnostics Technologies AS develops and manufactures a range of patented diagnostic products for use in doctors’ offices and clinics. Our flagship product, Afinion, is an innovative analysis system sold in more than 80 countries. Production takes place at Kjelsås, where we have several highly advanced, fully automated production lines installed.

The position of Software Developer & Tester is located at Kjelsås in Oslo, Norway. In this role, you will work on exciting R&D projects, develop and test software, and ensure high quality in accordance with current regulations. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain code, conduct code reviews, test and document programs/applications. Develop and maintain test cases, create test plans, coordinate and lead test activities, and develop and maintain test/build automation scripts and tools. Document software quality in accordance with QA regulations and project quality plans, and approve relevant protocols and reports. Perform tasks in accordance with established business policies and procedures, and demonstrate commitment to the development and implementation of quality processes in accordance with ISO, FDA, and other regulatory bodies.

Qualifications and Experience

Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, preferably in computer science, cybernetics, electronics, physics, or equivalent. Experience with the following is desirable:Embedded softwareProgramming languages C, C++, UMLImage processing Test certification, ISTQB is an advantage. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
