Procurement professional – Buyer II

We are looking for a Buyer, who will be responsible to develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy for the assigned components (goods / services), to ensure that quality, cost effective products are delivered in a timely manner, including any risk mitigation activities.

Job Description

⦁ Fulfills inquiring and purchasing activities within time and budget, expedites bids and supplier negotiations
⦁ Communicate order status with internal stakeholders, and ensure accuracy of system data.
⦁ Capable of resolving commercial issues, and have advanced skills to manage purchase orders of high value and complexity
⦁ Drive mitigation processes towards supplier as required
⦁ Work closely with Sourcing, Engineering and Project Teams in execution issues

You are meant for this job if you have:

⦁ Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, with minimum of at least 4 years' experience in Supply Chain Management/Procurement. Experience can compensate for lack of formal competency
⦁ Highly developed analytic, problem-solving skills and solution oriented
⦁ Proficiency in communication and negotiations, and capable of professionally chairing internal and external meetings.
⦁ Ability to identify process weaknesses and make recommendations to processes and workflow improvements to reduce costs and/or increase quality and /or efficiency
⦁ Knowledge of SAP and other applicable business systems
⦁ Ability to be committed and proactive, have a strong sense of collaboration, able to make decisions and learn from every situation
⦁ Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in country without sponsorship
