The position

By joining our team in Projects, Drilling & Procurement you will have the opportunity to:

Represent the operational metocean discipline with technical support to renewables and oil and gas projects.

Develop scopes of work for metocean data acquisition.

Manage and follow-up data acquisition activities from planning through execution, to experience capture.

Occasional offshore work in role of vessel representative, including international travel.

Contract management and follow up of suppliers.

Coordinate other type of survey operations such as environmental, where synergies exist with metocean activity.

Support renewables bidding and consenting teams with technical metocean input.

Contribute to and act upon departmental improvement agendas.

Bachelor/Master within a relevant discipline (Oceanography, Survey, Marine Technology or similar). Extensive experience with similar position can compensate for formal education.

Min. 3-5 years (Senior level) or 7 years+ (Principal level) of relevant experience, e.g. working with metocean measurements or project management of other survey disciplines.

Demonstrable commitment on safety, quality, cost and operational performance.

Professional level of proficiency in English. Willingness to learn Norwegian is beneficial.

Experience with a range of metocean measurement techniques and technologies is an advantage.

Commercial industry experience is an advantage.
