Job Description

You report directly to the VP Risk Management for Statkraft Markets and lead a team of nine credit and liquidity risk analysts across our Düsseldorf and Oslo offices You manage more than 1000 counterparty relationships globally and safeguard Statkraft Markets against material counterparty defaults  As central liquidity owner in Statkraft Markets you are responsible for forecasting liquidity needs and assessing liquidity risks. You advise Front Office, Back Office, Controlling and the corporate Finance functions on all liquidity questions related to Market’s activities and help to optimise the trade-offs between credit and liquidity risk. You advise Front Office on credit and liquidity risk mitigation for large and complex commodity transactions  You establish credit and liquidity risk policies, limits, guidelines and procedures that are aligned with the company’s risk appetite, strategy and objectives  You enhance our credit and liquidity tool kit and drive the necessary change in our IT landscape

Qualifications

Outstanding university degree (Master/PhD) in business, economics or a quantitative discipline like mathematics or physics You are a seasoned leader for credit and liquidity risk teams with a strong focus on reliable operations You have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a credit or treasury role ideally in commodity trading  You have a strong focus on our business in combination with the ability to find the right balance between good-enough and perfect risk solutions  You can communicate effectively about complex risk issues with all levels of the organization  Fluent in English, both written and spoken
