The Job

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Is structured, solution-oriented, thorough and has a good level of service.
  • Take part in developing and digitizing the payroll processes.
  • Has education in payroll administration and/or many years of experience working in payroll
  • Overall Tasks
  • In-depth knowledge of Norwegian payroll processes and associated processes.
  • Responsible for all aspects of payroll, including execution, reporting, analysis and control
  • Some of the expected salary tasks:
  • Check that the periods are ready for payroll processing, obtain tax cards (new employees), advance payments, final settlement, collection, salary calculation, reimbursements and sick pay including reimbursement, etc
  • Registration of payroll data and maintenance of personnel data, working with HR team to ensure that employee data is correct
  • Reconcile salaries against accounts
  • Understand time registration systems and the integration with the payroll system
  • Previous experience with collective agreements and their implications for pa processes
  • Ensure compliance with the company's guidelines and collective agreements
  • Understand time registration systems and the integration with payroll
  • Previous experience with tariff agreements and their implications on payroll processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and union agreements
  • Understand payroll system and integrations (currently using Aditro, moving to cloud-based system G7 effective Q1, 2023)
  • Reporting to authorities and collection of statistics within the group.
  • In the role, you will help develop and streamline payroll processes, become familiar with guidelines, process descriptions and new updates in payroll.

The Profile

  • Accurate and structured
  • Good IT and excel skills
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations relating to Norwegian wages
  • Ability to prioritize and plan ahead to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to proactively investigate and resolve issues related to payroll processes. Keep up-to- date on current laws and agreements
  • We see it as advantageous if you have experience with the planning system Optima and knowledge of Aditro/SD Works.
  • We have approximately 5,000 employees and have 16 different collective agreements
