DNV Maritime Norway has a total of 110 employees, working from 12 offices along the Norwegian coast. The unit is responsible for all our services to the maritime cluster in Norway. The main activities are classification and surveys of ships, mobile rigs, floating production units and certification of equipment from local manufacturers. We are now searching for electro surveyors to join our team in Bergen.

Key responsibilities:

Perform surveys on vessels and platforms, at manufacturers and at shipyards for classification and compliance with statutory requirements – we operate in the fields: Fleet in Service, Certification of materials and Components, and Newbuilding Plan, schedule and coordinate the various phases of surveying and also monitor the quality of service on the work performed Prepare technically accurate and timely reports of inspections and surveys Engage with our clients to resolve problems within areas of expertise Travel activity is a big part of the job, and is therefore required a Driver’s license Class B, and the possibility to use your own car at work

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for candidates with master/bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering. The candidate needs preferably to cover several fields of competence and the following education background is applicable: AutomationElectrical Engineering  Experience from the offshore industry, maritime industry or shipbuilding is an advantage. Graduates will also be considered
