The IT Network & Connectivity Specialist will be assigned to work with Connectivity and Network Systems Team which includes Onboard Network System, Core Network, Power Plants Connectivity, Satellite Connections and more.Leading network and security projects responsible for designing, specifying, and implementing network and security solutions for energy substations, data centers, and industrial networks, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security for Statkraft IT operations and services

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and translate requirements into Netowork designs, Implementations and communication interfaces. Maintain, operate and control O&M and Corporate Networks its documentation, equipment lifecycle and SLAs Provide a technical leadership for Network Operations and interactions with the Global and local teams. Troublehoot and solve complex incidents. Monitor supplier performance to ensure conectivity services, communication links (Internet, MPLS and Satallite) Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect the power plant equipment and systems from cyber-attacks

Qualificações

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or a related subject Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.

It is also desired for this position:

In depth experience with industrial networks design Skills with Security Controls · Network Infrastructure · Internet Protocol Suite · Cybersecurity · Network Design · CCSE · SD-WAN · MPLS · Cisco Routers · Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) · In depth experience working with cross functional global teams. Demonstrated project management skills within a fast paced highly integrated environment.
