Job Description

You will be part of the Back Office department in Statkraft, which acts as the process engine for all commercial transactions. We are responsible for validation of the transactions, clearing and collateral management processes, contract settlements, billing, accruing, and regulatory reporting for all trading and origination transactions across Europe and the US. The Regulatory Operations unit is based in Düsseldorf and is responsible for ensuring that the regulatory reporting requirements of our group entities are met, in accordance with statutory regulations and standards.

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: 

Perform transaction reporting and the related controls under different regimes (EMIR, REMIT, MIFID II, Dodd-Frank)  Ensure regulatory reporting processes are well documented and maintained  Monitor daily KPIs and analyze any exceptions  Implement regulatory changes and address ad hoc requests in relation to regulatory aspects  Support the implementation of new business initiatives from the regulatory reporting and compliance perspective  Collaborate closely with the main stakeholders, such as Trading/Front Office, Compliance, and IT

Qualifications

Academic degree in business, energy, or any related areas  Relevant work experience  Strong analytical skills and process consciousness Commercial mind set, proactive problem-solving attitude and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision  Reliable team player, committed to achieving shared goals through  Advanced computer skills and experience in working with cross-functional teams and projects  Business fluency in English, German language skills will be beneficial
