Job Description

Purpose:

Ensure the highest level of quality in our products by performing Quality checks of the Supplier/Internal manufacturing records according to PO, Industry, Engineering & Project Requirements. Responsible for identifying any discrepancies or inconsistencies in technical specifications, drawings, testing methods, and Supplier/Internal manufacturing records. This includes complex technical review of various Test certificates and reports to make decision on Authorization of Supplier and TechnipFMC Parts Shipment.  Work within existing systems towards resolving the Supplier and TechnipFMC Non-Conformance Report - by Review, Creation, Coordination and Closure activities.  Work with Global SMEs to check and approve the Supplier pre-production procedure approvals. Collaborate with Supplier Quality, Plant Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Delivery and Project team to ensure Quality and Delivery targets are achieved

Responsibilities:

Perform Quality checks of Supplier/Internal manufacturing records to authorize the shipment of parts according to engineering & project requirements Communicate non-conformance findings to the internal & external stakeholders and record them in SAP/Intelex Drives supplier/internal Non-conformances report creation/coordination/closure through SAP/Intelex. Work with subject matter expert, project & client to get the supplier pre-manufacturing records approval through eSMDR tool & SAP Using the SAP/ECM and database systems facilitates to make create or modify Quality notifications. Also to upload and download documents using the same SAP platform. Execute new scope of work within the team Maintain /share Lessons learnt or Best Practices Attend internal stakeholders meetings to address non conformances May participate in process standardization activities. Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce cost. Execute root cause analysis(RCA). Work on Containment, Corrective & Preventive Actions(CAPA) Investigating customer complaints and non-conformances Point of contact for a small region/plant and is responsible for managing communication team & manager (region/plant) .Assign work to a new joiners & mentor them Monitoring and analyzing quality performance metrics Developing and coordinating root cause analysis and corrective action plans Identify & report errors in engineering requirements

You are meant for this job if:

Bachelor of Engineering/Master of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) Minimum 2 Years of Experience in Quality Function. (Assurance/Control) Shall have thorough Technical Understanding on Industry Standards (API, ISO, ASME, ASTM, NORSOK, DNV), Engineering practices, Manufacturing techniques, Material Engineering, Destructive and Non-destructive Testing, Measuring Instruments, and Engineering Drawing Shall be able to identify and understand the technical details of various certificates and reports associated with Manufacturing Processes and Testing of materials. Hands on experience in complex review of Reports related to various Manufacturing and Special Processes such as Non-Destructive Examination (PT, MT, UT, PAUT, RT), Heat Treatment, Welding, Coating, etc. Shall be able to read, interpret & make decision on acceptance of various reports as per the Industry and TechnipFMC standards/Engineering Requirements/Project Requirements. Shall be able to read, and interpret Engineering Drawing requirements related to Dimensions, GD & T, Welding, Coating, Lifting, and Markings. Thorough experience in using various applications for the day-to-day execution – Outlook (email), Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word) and SAP/ERP (any other relevant). Shall be able to demonstrate understanding of steps involved in resolving Non-Conformance Report Process. Ability to demonstrate the understanding of Quality Tools used in problem solving. Shall have Good Communication skills to work with Global Functional teams. Flexibility to work in different shifts based on the need (Global regions: US/ER)
