Aker Carbon Capture is a leading carbon capture technology company. 

We serve a range of carbon-emitting industries including cement, blue hydrogen, bio/waste-to-energy, and gas-to-power among others. Aker Carbon Capture is one of the leading companies globally that has extensive knowledge of the entire CCUS value chain. We have many ongoing projects, from research and innovation, including pilot plant testing, to concept studies and to large EPC projects, both in Europe and in the United States. Today, we are delivering seven carbon capture units in Europe, with an accumulated capture capacity of 1 million tonnes of CO2. In Denmark, we are delivering five Just Catch 100 units to Ørsted, in the Netherlands one Just Catch 100 unit to Twence, and in Norway a Big Catch to Heidelberg Materials.

What will you be doing?

As multi-disciplinary Preservation Lead, you will spearhead and coordinate the preservation activities of the suppliers and subcontractors.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Define the preservation scope in PIMS CMS
  • Administer preservation database
  • Develop a suite of preservation checklists, routines and procedures consistent with the preservation philosophy and strategy.
  • Plan the resources needed for preservation scope
  • Establish a plan for preservation scope execution
  • Work closely with Supply Chain, warehouse management, and Construction team
  • Participate in performing preservation scope
  • Audit on supplier and subcontractor preservation activities
  • Contribute to Construction activities and processes as required

Your qualifications

  • BSc degree/Technical diploma and relevant work experience, or other education with extensive relevant practical experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction and/or preservation
  • Good understanding of PIMS CMS
  • Competent leadership skills
  • Multidiscipline understanding of preservation works
  • Fluent English language, written and spoken

  • Availability for travel as needed

Working location: Fornebu, Oslo. On a later stage, relocation to Denmark may be required

Start date: August/September 2024

Contract duration: 1 year with option of extension
