QC Welding Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute specific inspections on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities on-site.
• Prepare and maintain necessary Quality Records, and when required, draft and submit non-conformance reports.
• Responsible for inspecting materials, parts, products, and assemblies, as well as associated documentation.
• Ensure that all existing work routines, practices, procedures, and systems are followed.
• Verify welders' certificates and supervise their work.
• Perform dimensional checks and visual verifications.
• Verify and validate the quality of machined components and assemblies in line with the specified acceptance criteria.
• Review technical documentation, such as measurement reports, material certificates, declarations of conformity, and welding/NDT reports.
• Develop and maintain inspection plans according to requirements.
• Assist various professionals and departments with technical control tasks, guidance, and training.
• Control and verify calibrated equipment in accordance with requirements.
• Assist in enhancing and refining our processes and procedures
• Conduct training and toolbox meetings for workers.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• IWI-C, VT2 certification.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a welding inspector.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written) is required; proficiency in Norwegian is considered a plus.
