Job Description

Performs varied and more complex assembly and tests of mechanical/ hydraulic assemblies Assembles and tests assemblies according to specifications. Applies advanced skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment in area of expertise Completes required test documentation including test reports, failed test reports and NCRs. Assists with FAT’s (Factory Acceptance Tests) and SIT’s (System Integration Tests) Assists in preparing, maintaining and utilizing test stations and test equipment for factory and system acceptance testing Uses material handling equipment to move parts, components and sub-assemblies from one work or storage area to another as required Collects and inputs information in specific systems for cost tracking purposes Performs all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of dangers in work area Assists more experienced Assembly Technicians as assigned and supports in training less experienced colleagues

You are meant for this job if:

High school diploma or equivalent technical diploma 3 years of experience in field Proficiency to read and interpret drawings and technical documentation in assembly Knowledge/use of complex tolls, equipment and techniques (e.g. FAT, Gas testing, etc.)
