Expro are currently recruiting for a Mechanic - TRS to join the Tubular Running Services team based in Stavanger.
Overall Purpose of the Job
To ensure that Expro’s Well Construction (TRS) equipment is maintained to the highest standards, repairing and testing equipment within a specified deadline to company standards.
Key Activities and Accountabilities
Efficiently setting up equipment configurations, function testing and assessing suitability per company and manufacture procedures. Initiating equipment maintenance processes as required per company standards and/or local legislation, ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standards within the required deadline. Identifying equipment problems, inspecting parts for defects such as breakages and excessive wear, recording repairs and maintenance performed in line with company standards. Studying engineering diagrams and schematics, determining pneumatic and hydraulic routing, identifying required parts to perform repairs and liaising with company teams to ensure parts are efficiently procured. Mobilize offshore to perform field repairs and/or support offshore field crews as required. Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expro’s reputation is minimised. Provide leadership in all ethical issues; ensure employees are aware of Expro’s compliance requirements and feel able to report possible violations or conflicts of interest Actively comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes. Promote HSE awareness; take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and safety of others. Demonstrate the personal application of HSE procedures in daily performance and always follow the 10 Safety House Rules Ensure objectives set under Employee Development Plan are met
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
Mechanical qualification and 2+ years’ experience in a similar role Working knowledge of industry tubular running equipment, including setup, usage, repair & maintenance procedures. Ability to interoperate engineering drawings and schematics Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems Strong team work ethic Understanding and ability to follow procedures Ability to accurately assess, solve, implement, and communicate solutions to problems Proficient in MS365 Packages-
