The position

By joining our team in Marketing, Midstream & Processing you will have the opportunity to:

Be responsible for development and execution of long-term shipping projects and maritime logistical solutions for transportation of liquids (Crude & Products) and gas (LNG, LPG, NH3, CO2) worldwide. 

Be responsible for development of sourcing strategies for shipping assets.

Be responsible for negotiations of long-term shipping contracts.

Be responsible for development of required decision basis and documentation.

Be responsible for performance management of shipping suppliers (Owners and Technical Managers).

Be responsible for providing and coordinating input into relevant projects on behalf of the shipping team.

Extensive collaboration with external parties (shipowners, shipbrokers, shipyards and suppliers) and internal stakeholders in the different Business Areas is expected (Trading, New Value Chains and Low Carbon Solutions).

Project Manager/Project Leader experience.

Very good analytical skills (economic analysis, market analysis).

In-depth knowledge of shipping, shipping markets and maritime industry is an advantage.

Gas transportation/logistics. CO2 experience preferred.

Fluent English, written and spoken.

Bachelor's/Master's Degree within economics or technical disciplines.

Ability to work in line with Equinor’s values, with a very strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate and communicate internally and externally, and to contribute to a positive working environment.
