A wooden dream grows on Rønvikfjellet. May 2023 opens the doors to a hotel experience completely out of the ordinary. An outdoor resort in northern Norway: Wood Hotel Bodø. Now we are looking for the people who will make this dream come true, every single day.

The building will be built mainly in wood and will offer accommodation, restaurants, wellness, a selection of outdoor activities and much more. Think of our building as a tree on the mountain, with roots growing deep into the earth. Here, guests will be able to check into one of our 145 rooms, eat in one of our restaurants or relax in a heated pool on the roof.

Wood Hotel Bodø will give our guests a sophisticated experience of nature. While nature in the north can be harsh and brutal, we will curate it inside our house to be both exclusive and real. Through design, food, well-being and activities, we want to invite nature into our hotel.

An important part of our new hotel will be you - the people. The people in Northern Norway have a unique way of being. Northerners are warm people, but also direct. They are a "no fuss" type of people, but they go to great lengths to make you feel at home. This kind of hospitality is our core philosophy and something we want to fill our hotel with. As a kitchen helper, you are an important part of creating unique experiences for our guests. You are responsible, like to work at a fast pace, take your own initiative and have full control. You are driven by having good cooperation with your colleagues.

Would you like to be part of creating one of the most unique hotel experiences in Northern Norway?

We are looking for you as:

• Have  a valid work permit and  residence in Norway.  (Applications that do not conform to this requirement will not be processed).
• Takes care of preparing the dishes on the menu up to the hotel standards
• Ensure that it is tidy and clean around you and the common areas nearby at all times
• Team work and cooperation within the department
• Takes care of waste sorting 
• Ensures that all equipment is placed in the right place at all times

The position involves a rotating arrangement and with weekend work
