Job Purpose

Join our Global Sourcing and Procurement team as a Senior Buyer. Your main role will be executing procurement strategies for assigned components (goods/services) to ensure that quality, cost effective products are delivered in a timely manner.

Your responsibilities:

Participates in defining procurement strategies and activities to mitigate risk together with the project manager, Capable of resolving commercial issues, and has advanced skills to manage purchase orders of high values and complexity, Fulfills strategic inquiring and purchasing activities within time and budget, Makes sure all the information necessary for issuing the inquiry is available, Checks purchasing conditions are applicable to the project and if not, reports to the Project Procurement Manager, Expedites bids, Conducts negotiations with vendors, Prepares the purchase order documents in due time and checks for quality Contributes to recovery of amounts with important clients relevant to back-charges already notified to the vendors, Continuously communicate order status with internal stakeholders, and ensure accuracy of system data, May serve as technical expert in a Purchasing domain, Proactively support less experienced Buyers, Drive improvement initiatives.

You are meant for this job if:

Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, supply chain or administration, Around 5 years of experience within procurement, material management and/or planning, English and Polish - fluent, Analytical skills and problem solving skills, A customer focused, proactive and innovative mindset, Strong ability to build and maintain effective networks and relations at all levels, Experience in SAP or equally complex business system would be an asset, Experience in Microsoft Excel would be an asset, Competency in modern quality principles in large and complex organizations would be an asset.
