Hydro need to temporarily strengthen the organization within the area of Cyber Security and Group Information & Technology (GRIT) and is looking for a Cyber Security Manager – Risk to drive the cyber risk management activities for Hydro group. The assignment will be for at least three quarter of a year.
The position will be responsible for the cyber risk input to the Enterprise Risk Management of Hydro and to facilitate the work with the business areas and Global Business Services (GBS - shared service organization). Furthermore, the position will own and maintain the risk management methodology for group and drive education and awareness on this methodology to application and product owners, the business areas, and the shared service organization.
You will collaborate with a large network of stakeholders from the professional cyber security functions, Risk Managers in the business areas, application- and product owners to drive and deliver the cyber and information risk management. You will report to the CISO and be part of the Cyber Security Strategy & Risk team within Group Information & Technology department.
Cyber Risk Manager Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the process and information gathering as for the Cyber Risk as part of Hydro Enterprise Risk Management process.
• Develop and maintain the cyber and information risk management practices for Hydro, documented through corporate procedures and handbooks.
• Drive education of the product and application managers in the discipline of information risk management
• Maintain risk registers on group level, and collaborate closely with the cyber risk function part of Hydro Cyber Défense Center
• Provide output from the cyber risk management process into policy and procedure, security architecture and cyber compliance and security awareness functions.
• Follow closely the cyber threat development in society as such and build relationship to key stakeholders outside Hydro, e.g. authorities, key peer companies and relevant suppliers of cyber security threat updates
Cyber Risk Manager Requirements:
• Minimum 3 year of experience from the field of Information and Cyber Security risk management
• Experience in working in larger international environment and to deliver through virtual team.
• Strategic and result oriented with analytical mindset.
• Broad general knowledge about IT and/or OT
• Knowledge relating to security risk in IT and OT environments.
• Subject matter expertise on risk management methodology, applied for Information and Cyber risk management.
• Subject matter knowledge from utilities or manufacturing industries using industrial control systems within plant operations.
• Strong verbal and written skills in English
• Leadership skills in terms of setting agenda and create an environment building the risk management practices into running processes for application and product owners.
• Ability to convey and share ideas, but also to listen actively and provide feedback to others, which leads to accurate understanding.
• Ability to communicate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders equally.
• Degree in engineering, IT, business administration, economics, finance, or a related field required.
