Assignment Description

Key role within the Subsea Alliance to ensure SSA consistency and quality in defined processes both with client and SSA. Visualize value within Subsea Alliance project estimates/MLCs and overall Subsea Alliance performance.

Accountabilities

1. Subsea Alliance (SSA) estimating and MLC function and processes, including education and development/improvement.
2. Coordinate and ensure that each function/party performs their role in accordance with relevant processes.
3. Drive improvements within the estimating area and support ongoing digitalization and flow efficiency initiatives.
4. Establishment, management and continuous improvement of a standard estimate/MLC submission package(s) to demonstrate Subsea Alliance value proposition to all stakeholders.
5. Development and management of a 'rolling' Alliance Performance Package supporting Alliance Manager and Commercial Manager in stakeholder management both internally at client and to the company's industry peers and license partners.
6. Perform cost engineering tasks as required for the position.

Responsibilities

1. Establish and coordinate the MLC/estimate submission for approval as part of the Project Services team.
2. Close collaboration and support to the Risk function within the Alliance to ensure correct level of contingency is promoted within estimates and MLCs.
3. Develop close collaboration and efficient interface management routines between Subsea Alliance and relevant Estimators at client.
4. Close support to Subsea Alliance Planning function to ensure that MLC/Estimating submissions are fully inclusive of, and integrated with, project schedules.
5. Ensure consistency of approach from all partners within the Subsea Alliance estimating function.
6. Coordination and management of internal cost and schedule reviews with assistance from Planners and Project Services Manager or Study Manager/Study Leads.
7. Manage, promote, and prepare Alliance estimate and schedule development and benchmarking package to demonstrate competitiveness and best value to all stakeholders.
8. Prepare communication packages for Steering Committee, client and external stakeholders.
9. Delivery of commercial parts of Project MLC documentation, specifically Appendix B.
10. Prepare Alliance close-out date for client's experience database.
11. Support development of Corporate Memory (client database and tool for data capture and benchmarking).
12. Perform Cost Engineering tasks upon request.
