Your Role at impact.com:

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Engineering Enablement Team, responsible for empowering our engineering organization with robust tools, frameworks, and practices. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance developer productivity, streamline workflows, and ensure the scalability and performance of our frontend infrastructure.

What You'll Do:

1. Architectural Leadership: Design and implement scalable frontend architectures and frameworks that support rapid iteration and maintainability across multiple projects. You will be a main contributor to our internal design system and component library.
2. Tooling and Automation: Develop and maintain tooling, automation, and CI/CD pipelines to facilitate efficient frontend development, testing, and deployment processes.
3. Technical Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the team.
4. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to understand requirements, propose solutions, and ensure alignment on technical implementations.
5. Code Quality and Standards: Establish and enforce frontend coding standards, best practices, and code review processes to maintain high-quality codebase integrity.
6. Research and Innovation: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in frontend development, and evaluate their potential impact on our technology stack.
7. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document architectural designs, processes, and solutions effectively, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing initiatives.

What You Have:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
2. Proven experience as a Front-End Developer or in a similar role.
3. Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries, particularly Vue.js. React and Angular experience a plus.
4. Knowledge of CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
5. Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
6. Understanding of key design principles and proficiency with the design tool Figma.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice to have:

1. Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks and tools like Vitest and Playwright.
2. Deep understanding of modern dev tools like Vite and Storybook.
3. Basic understanding of back-end technologies and RESTful APIs.
4. Experience with performance optimization tools and techniques.
5. Experience in advertising technology and affiliate marketing is a plus.
6. Affiliate & Partnerships Industry Fundamentals Certification by PXA.
