JOB PURPOSE

Participates in engineering solutions as part of the Manufacturing Engineering function, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.

General description of scope

Performs with autonomy, in accordance with department and/or project instructions, schedules and processes requirements to develop the production process to improve the performance standard, establish new production processes, create production documentation, work instructions, CNC programs and/or routings.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
  1. Develop the production process to improve the performance standard.
  2. Establish new production processes.
  3. Create production documentation, such as assembly & test procedures, work instructions, CNC programs and/or routings.
  4. Supervise less experienced engineering personnel by checking their calculations, design conception, and engineering solutions, ensuring quality and efficiency of deliverables.
  5. Create written specifications for the design and/or supply of shop tools.
  6. Review drawings, part reports, and procedures to ensure parts can be safely produced in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
  7. Provide Quality Notification disposition where required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/FORMAL EDUCATION:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline preferred or equivalent.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  1. More than 5 years of experience.
REQUIRED INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
  1. Good command of English.
  2. Evidence of good organizational and problem-solving skills.
  3. Service/Customer oriented.
  4. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and project culture.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  1. Strong basic knowledge in Manufacturing process.
  2. Understanding in the use of CAD/CAM (NX) and PLM Systems (TCE).
  3. Understanding in the use of Vericut.
  4. Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
  5. Additional SAP knowledge will be helpful.
