Your role will require and challenge you to:

  1. Work with Product Managers and frontend developers
  2. Improve code quality through pair programming and code reviews
  3. Identify and communicate best practices
  4. Design and build REST based Microservices on .Net / .Net Core using C# and ASP.NET Web API
  5. Have the right mindset to build and ship high-quality code to production every day
  6. Handle security aspects while designing and coding, not as an afterthought
  7. Have an open mind on tooling and languages
  8. Take pride in what you deliver
  9. Be proactive and self-driven
  10. Be a strong team player and prefer to work with others in all phases of the development process
  11. Enjoy collaborating across borders in an international environment

What you bring:

  1. BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
  2. 5+ years of experience in backend development with C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+
  3. Strong experience in RESTful API design and implementation
  4. Proficiency in SQL databases
  5. Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
  6. Knowledge of asynchronous programming and multithreading in C#
  7. Strong understanding of software design patterns and best practices
  8. Experience with unit testing, integration testing
  9. Ability to write high-performing, testable, and reusable code
  10. Fluent in English (our working language)

While we put mindset and being a team player at the top of the list, you get additional points if you are familiar with, or have good knowledge of, any of the following:

  1. Experience with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka)
  2. Data warehousing and ETL experience
  3. Ability to design and architect scalable backend systems
  4. Understanding of security best practices in backend development
  5. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps practices
  6. Experience with docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (Azure)
  7. Git, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Grafana, TeamCity
