The Role

We are now seeking a driven, experienced, and efficient Growth Manager to drive one of our new segments within the petrochemicals and process industry. We currently deliver digital twin and simulation technology that provides our clients with a single surface to monitor operations, calibrate settings, and apply changes to their facilities.

Kognitwin is a digital twin technology that manages the asset lifecycle for efficient operations and maintenance, applicable for heavy asset-intensive industries. Our technology has helped enterprises deliver on performance goals and ambitions.

Your main responsibility will be to develop and deliver on our Go-To-Market strategy in the petrochemicals and basic chemicals segments, which is a big part of our overall growth ambitions.

The role will be responsible for driving growth, business development, and sales in the EMEA region.

The ideal candidate will be someone that has:

  • Experience working within or towards the petrochemicals and/or process industry with operations and/or maintenance related business processes.
  • Experience from the SaaS industry, including a track record in SaaS or enterprise industrial software sales and solid understanding of software bid processes.
  • Strong leadership abilities and can leverage those to originate opportunities, take ownership, and drive sales and commercial results.
  • Strong project execution and oversight abilities.
  • Experience developing business cases and/or running value assessments.
  • A collaborative mindset and can draw on the strengths of the entire organization to achieve commercial goals.
  • Ability to define a customer strategy, link to the overall objectives of the organization in a digital software context.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect products to value, and to navigate in complex customer environments that require strong leadership.

You will:

  • Work closely with the growth team, product, and our customer success organization to define value propositions for new opportunities.
  • Frequently meet with customers to present and discuss opportunities, value propositions, and identify growth areas.
  • Develop compelling value propositions that bind technical architecture, use cases, and value into a meaningful client context, and deliver the message to clients across the sales lifecycle.
  • Engage in market research, customer segmentation, targeting, and focus to articulate specific value propositions.
  • Develop, translate, and leverage technical and functional roadmaps, discuss data standards, integration patterns, APIs, and service architectures that achieve the customers' goals.
  • Manage a funnel of opportunities using CRM tools and revenue forecasting methodologies.
  • Support deal shaping, commercial negotiation, and development of compelling commercial pricing models that enable mutual value generation with customers.
  • Work proactively to identify new potential partners or M&A targets in line with the company's Growth strategy.
  • Continuously engage in internal process improvement, process implementation, and general improvement activities as the company is rapidly growing.
  • Have the ability and willingness to "wear many hats" in the company's rapid growth phase is essential; you will get broad exposure.
