Oslo, Oslo County, Norway atNorth Holding AB Full time

About Us:

atNorth is a fast-growing Nordic data center company, delivering sustainable, high-performance computing solutions across Iceland, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and now Norway. As we continue to expand our landbank for future data center developments, we are looking for a Site Selection Manager to drive the identification, assessment, and acquisition of new sites across Norway. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our expansion strategy in the Nordics, ensuring that atNorth secures the best locations for future growth while also offering opportunities for career development and involvement in projects across the Nordics.

About the Role:

As a Site Selection Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new site opportunities in Norway, ensuring they meet atNorth's technical, environmental, and strategic criteria. You will actively engage with local municipalities, energy providers, and business developers to explore potential locations and conduct due diligence to assess site feasibility. Your work will involve technical, legal, and commercial evaluations, ensuring every new site aligns with our long-term business goals.

Beyond site selection, you will play a key role in navigating Norwegian regulations and governance related to power applications, handling documentation, and ensuring compliance with national and European standards. You will manage the approval process, prepare materials for stakeholder evaluations, and ensure sites progress through atNorth's Gating process efficiently. This is a role with room for growth, with the potential to extend your work beyond Norway and be part of atNorth's broader expansion journey.

About You:

You have strong experience in site selection, energy infrastructure, or real estate in Norway, with a deep understanding of the Norwegian energy sector, grid availability, and permitting processes. You are well-versed in property transactions, valuation, and legal due diligence, and you know how to navigate the regulatory landscape to get projects approved.

You are proactive, well-organized, and skilled in handling documentation and permits, ensuring that projects move forward without delays. You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments, where agility and adaptability are key. With strong project management skills, you can balance multiple stakeholders, internal teams, and external partners, making sure that every site is set up for success.

Experience in an international setting is highly valuable, as this role has the potential to grow beyond Norway and contribute to atNorth's expansion across the Nordics.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in site development, energy infrastructure, or real estate in Norway.
  2. Strong knowledge of the Norwegian energy sector, including grid access and permitting.
  3. Experience with property transactions, valuation methodologies, and legal due diligence.
  4. Ability to navigate Norwegian regulations and governance, handling documentation and approvals.
  5. Proactive and structured approach, with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Why Join Us?

  1. Be part of a fast-growing company shaping the future of data center infrastructure in the Nordics.
  2. Play a key role in our expansion into Norway, securing strategic sites for future development.
  3. Opportunities for career growth, with the potential to expand your work beyond Norway.
  4. Work in an international environment, collaborating with a cross-functional team across multiple countries.
