About the role
Join our dynamic team as a Security Governance Expert and be at the forefront of shaping and maintaining a robust Information Security Management System (ISMS). This role is pivotal in driving our security governance initiatives, aligning them with industry best practices, and steering our organization toward ISO 27001 certification by 2025. You will own the ISMS framework, ensuring it is current, compliant, and effectively implemented across all security domains, from secure development to physical security. You will participate in developing and implementing our cybersecurity strategy.

Main responsibilities

  • Implement and develop a comprehensive ISMS framework.

  • Lead information security risk management initiatives and risk assessment workshops tailored to business needs.

  • Collaborate across teams to integrate security governance, risk management, security controls, and compliance into company processes and projects.

  • Promote security awareness and foster a culture of accountability and ethical conduct organization-wide together with the security team.

  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to evaluate and improve ISMS effectiveness, ensuring adherence to the annual compliance calendar.

  • Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, regulators, and stakeholders, managing audits, inspections, and inquiries with timely and accurate responses.

We are looking for the following experience

  • 4+ years of experience in security governance or related fields.

  • Hands-on experience with ISMS implementation and risk management.

  • Knowledge of relevant standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and applicable regulations.

  • Certification in one or more: CISM, CISA, CRISC, or equivalent.

Nice-to-Have

  • Operational experience with IT systems, architecture, and cloud environments (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).

  • Familiarity with GRC tools such as Vanta, Scrut, or Drata.

As a person you are a self-motivated, reliable, and flexible professional with strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills. With a structured approach, you can focus on both important details and the broader perspective.You are comfortable with your ability to handle rapid changes and to navigate when the map is not giving you all the answers.

You can work independently, thrive under pressure and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You have strong time management skills, particularly for meeting deadlines, achieving certification milestones, and addressing key findings.
