We are seeking a CCO/COO to lead the strategic and commercial efforts for Tiny Studios, an innovative SaaS startup transforming the dance studio and instruction industry. With a live product, paying customers, and strong market traction, you'll play a critical role in shaping the startup's growth, driving revenue, engaging with investors, and leading fundraising efforts to secure the resources needed to scale in a global market. This hands-on role will collaborate closely with our CEO, Mona Berntsen—a globally renowned dancer and entrepreneur with deep industry expertise and a passion for empowering dance professionals worldwide.

Welcome to Tiny Studios, where technology meets creativity to revolutionize the dance studio and instruction industry. Founded by globally recognized dancer Mona Berntsen—whose career includes collaborations with Justin Bieber, Madonna, Coldplay, and Chris Brown—Tiny Studios is inspired by her deep understanding of the unique challenges dance studios face daily.

The platform is designed to handle all aspects of studio management, including scheduling, booking, payments, communication, and business analytics, empowering studio owners and instructors to focus on their art rather than administrative tasks. Backed by venture studio Reodor, Tiny is on a fast track to disrupt a global market, with plans to launch in the US in 2025.

Already in operation with paying customers and significant market interest, Tiny Studios offers a compelling opportunity for a visionary CCO/COO to join the journey and make an immediate impact.

About The Role

This is a strategic and operational leadership role at a dynamic seed-stage startup. As CCO/COO, you'll collaborate closely with the CEO to refine and implement the company's vision, leveraging your expertise to engage investors, customers, and partners while driving growth, market expansion, and long-term business success.

In this multi-faceted role, you will lead the company's efforts to raise capital, build relationships with investors, and establish the financial foundation needed for rapid growth. You'll also be instrumental in driving customer acquisition, shaping revenue models, and the development of strategic partnerships, ensuring the business is well-positioned to scale globally.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic collaboration: Work with the CEO to develop and refine the company's business strategy, ensuring alignment with overall goals and vision.
  • Fundraising: Lead fundraising efforts, including preparing investor materials, building relationships, and collaborating with Reodor Studios to secure funding.
  • Investor relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential investors, ensuring effective communication of progress, performance, and milestones.
  • Revenue strategy: Shape and implement revenue models, including subscription pricing and monetization strategies for free and premium plans.
  • Customer growth: Drive customer acquisition and retention, ensuring long-term satisfaction and sustainable growth.
  • Partnership development: Identify and support the establishment of strategic partnerships to enhance product distribution, branding, and market reach.
  • Market expansion: Assist with preparing for and executing the company's expansion into the US market and beyond, developing strategies to scale globally.
  • Operational efficiency: Work with the CEO to create scalable operational processes and ensure the business operates effectively as it grows.
  • Team collaboration: Support the recruitment and mentoring of commercial and strategic talent, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in strategy, business development, or commercial leadership in a startup or growth-focused environment.
  • Familiarity with fundraising processes, including engaging with investors and preparing for funding rounds.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex challenges into actionable solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with investors, partners, and team members.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for scaling impactful businesses.
  • Experience working with VC-backed startups or in early-stage environments is a plus.
