Simployer is transforming HR tech, and we're looking for a Senior QA to join our AI-team to work with our conversational UI and help us deliver high-quality, stable products that make a difference. If you thrive in a fast-moving environment, enjoy working hands-on with testing, and are eager to explore how AI can enhance QA processes—this is your opportunity

Role Objective

The primary goal of the QA role is to ensure quality throughout the entire development process, enabling the launch of a high-quality and stable product for users. As a QA, you are responsible for making sure the product meets requirements, functions as expected, and provides a great user experience. You will own the quality assurance efforts in close collaboration with the development team.

What You'll Do

  1. Plan, design, and execute tests to ensure our products meet quality standards and provide a great user experience.
  2. Report, document, and track issues, collaborating closely with developers to resolve them efficiently.
  3. Work closely with developers, designers, and product owners to ensure high-quality deliveries.
  4. Estimate effort and complexity for new features together with the development team.
  5. Continuously improve QA competencies and implement new manual testing techniques.
  6. Use GenAI technologies to optimize testing, identify patterns, and automate repetitive tasks.
  7. Participate in architecture and solution discussions to ensure testability and quality are built into the product from the start.
  8. Proactively identify areas for improvement and propose solutions that increase quality and efficiency.

What We Offer

  1. A supportive and inclusive workplace that values collaboration and growth.
  2. Hybrid work setup — we would like to see you on a regular basis in one of our offices (Oslo, Sarpsborg or Stockholm).
  3. Opportunities for continuous learning and development.
  4. A team that inspires and supports each other.
  5. High autonomy and responsibility, with recognition for your contributions.

Minimum Requirements

  1. 3+ years of QA/testing experience with various methods and tools.
  2. Familiarity with agile methodologies and AI-driven QA tools.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Fluent in English and Norwegian or Swedish (spoken and written).
  5. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
  6. Experience with automated testing is a plus.

Our Hiring Process

  1. Introduction meeting: A brief chat with our recruiter for us to understand your background better, and for you to learn about us and the role (approx. 20 minutes).
