As a Supply Chain Solution Architect at reMarkable, you will be the catalyst and driver for enabling world class capabilities within Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning). Working closely with other colleagues from our supply chain team, you will play a key role in designing the business processes, overall architecture and functional solutions of our supply chain planning technology stack, primarily o9 Solutions, and oversee its implementation.

You will be given the opportunity to develop deep business and technical expertise in supply chain management, including how we plan, operate and scale our global supply chain network. Expect to work in a fast-paced work environment with cross-functional teams on some of our most exciting and unique challenges. This position reports directly to the Head of Supply Chain Analytics and Operations IT.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical advisor for planners supporting both short and long term horizon planning in the o9 system. You will be the go-to person for our planning capabilities in o9.
  • Analyze and drive decisions by reviewing change requests from the business, ensuring feasibility and uncovering critical dependencies.
  • Do hands-on configuration and development, taking an active role in bringing solutions to life. Coding will be primarily done in o9's proprietary scripting language (IBPL).
  • Leverage new functionalities and features within o9 to enhance planning capabilities and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure we have a fit for purpose solution for planning and visibility in our global, end-to-end supply chain.
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining an up-to-date roadmap to support the strategic objectives and long-term goals of the Supply Chain department and reMarkable as a whole.

Who are you:

  • Experience with IT implementation as a solution architect or functional lead.
  • Able to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ideally within the supply chain domain, communicating clearly with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • You have strong analytical skills and enjoy complex problem solving.
  • You are curious, enjoy learning, and enjoy working in a growing company alongside talented and highly skilled colleagues.
  • Comfortable leading a process where you don't have full control over every aspect. The role involves navigating ambiguity and complexity, with multiple possible solutions, requiring you to guide the team in choosing the most effective path forward.
  • You have a university degree in a relevant field.
  • You have 4-8 years of experience in consulting, high-tech/consumer electronics, eCommerce or other relevant industries.

It's a plus if you have experience with or are open to learning:

  • Have a good understanding of how, in supply chain management, processes and systems are interlinked.
  • Hands-on experience working with SQL and cloud databases.
  • Hands-on experience working with Python/Go programming, or a similar language.
  • Experience working with o9, Kinaxis, SAP IBP or similar APS (Advanced Planning Systems) is a plus.
  • Experience from product management and project management.
  • Preferably experience working with data & analytics.
