Opera is on a mission to redefine digital mindfulness with Opera Air, our innovative mindfulness browser. We're looking for a motivated and creative Social Media Manager to drive our presence across platforms and help amplify the Opera Air brand. Role & Responsibilities
- Social Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with Opera Air's brand voice and marketing objectives.
Identify platform-specific opportunities (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) to maximize audience engagement.
- Content Management
Plan, schedule, and publish high-impact content (text, image, video) that sparks conversation and grows brand awareness.
Collaborate with internal teams (Design, Product, Marketing) to produce compelling visuals, motion graphics, and copy.
Develop and execute campaigns with brand ambassadors or influencers.
- Community Engagement
Collaborate with the internal influencers team, to build authentic integration within our owned channels.
Monitor and respond to community interactions, comments, and direct messages.
Ensuring day-to-day positive brand perception by providing customer support to product questions and delivering structured feedback to product teams.
Foster a sense of community and encourage thoughtful discourse around mindfulness and digital well-being.
Engage in existing conversations around mindfulness across platforms.
- Performance Tracking
Track and analyze key metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth) to assess campaign effectiveness.
Provide regular reports and insights to guide content optimization and future strategy.
- Brand Advocacy
Ensure Opera Air's brand voice and values are consistently represented across all social channels.
Stay up-to-date with social media trends, mindful tech movements, and industry best practices to keep Opera Air at the forefront of innovation.
Job Requirements
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in social media management or related roles.
Content Creation Skills: Experience creating (or overseeing creation of) engaging social media content, including short-form video.
Platform Expertise: Strong knowledge of major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn) and emerging channels.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple channels, projects, and content calendars in a fast-paced environment.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to adapt tone to different audiences.
Analytical Skills:Familiarity with social analytics tools (e.g., Spout, Emplify) for campaign tracking and performance measurement.
Passion for Mindfulness: Genuine interest in fostering a balanced and mindful digital lifestyle.
