This is why the Supply Chain Management (SCM) business area is important for our customers, SAP, and the whole society. Our team specializes in selling cloud-based software solutions to optimize supply chains for our customers in the Nordic & Baltic countries. Our focus on customers and to help them run at their best has given us the opportunity to grow We are currently looking for a SCM Solution Sales Executive (SSE) to join our team in Oslo, Norway.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

  1. Achievement of agreed (incremental) revenue & pipeline targets
  2. Forecast and regular status updates on pipeline
  3. Management of all opportunities and bids in Supply Chain Management
  4. Account planning, deal acceleration, closing plan
  5. Pro-active collaboration with local Industry Sales teams
  6. Negotiating of complex contract constellations
  7. Pro-active contacts, interaction and collaboration with different business areas from our customers (development, planning, manufacturing, sales & distribution and aftersales / services)
  8. Foster value-based solution approach in cooperation with respective industry- and product specialists
  9. Develop and drive local go-to-market plans
  10. Work on demand management activities with regional and local marketing & business development
  11. Build, enable and manage the local partner landscape
  12. Best practice sharing on a regional as well as market unit level

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Required skills:

  1. Bachelor or Master´s degree or higher in business, management, information systems, or Supply Chain Management or Logistics Management or similar
  2. Strong sales attitude (from building pipe to close the deal)
  3. Good understanding (at least) of the fundamental processes in supply chain and logistics
  4. Very confident manner in dealing with people on all company levels – especially with decision makers
  5. Strong networking skills with customers and their buying centers (COO, CSCO, etc)
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills on executive level
  7. Excellent organizational, business strategy planning and program management skills
  8. Fluency in English and Norwegian

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  1. Strong Background and track record in either Account Management, Industry sales or Solution sales
  2. Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in similar sales roles
  3. Developing and executing business plans and programs
  4. Cross-industry experience in Industry processes (i.e. Design/R&D, Supply Chain Planning, Production/Manufacturing, Logistics, Service & Maintenance) is very favorable
