Excavator Operator

As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth or other materials. This job requires a high level of skill and experience in operating excavators, as well as knowledge of safety procedures and regulations. Responsibilities

• Operate excavator to dig trenches, load trucks, and perform other tasks as directed
• Inspect equipment before use to ensure proper functioning
• Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times
• Monitor and maintain fuel levels, fluid levels, and other necessary materials for equipment operation
• Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
• Report any malfunctions or issues with equipment to supervisor immediately
• Adhere to project timelines and deadlines

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• At least 1 year of experience operating excavators in a construction setting
• Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding job specifications
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to heavy equipment operation
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong communication skills
• Physical ability to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time
• Skilled in troubleshooting and problem solving
• Flexibility to work overtime when necessary
• Must have own transportation

Salary: $1500 per month
