Your familiarity with regulatory frameworks for AI, along with your experience in the Testing, Inspection, Certification, and Compliance (TICC) industry, will be instrumental in establishing Nemko Digital as a leader in AI Assurance. TasksAs the Global Business Development Manager at Nemko Digital, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our AI Trust services. Your responsibilities will include:
Market Exploration and Analysis:
- Stay abreast of developments in the AI Trust market to understand market dynamics and customer needs.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities.
- Design and implement business development initiatives that align with the growth targets of Nemko Digital.
Strategic Business Growth:
- Develop and execute comprehensive business growth strategies.
- Implement a structured approach to business development, from identifying potential market segments and generating leads to closing deals and securing long-term agreements.
- Offer both customized and pre-defined AI Trust services, including advisory, consulting, assessment, and software solutions.
Target Achievement and Strategy Adjustment:
- Translate strategic ambitions into tangible business development and sales targets for both your function and teams across the globe.
- Drive and achieve these results, regularly reporting on progress and adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure continued growth and success.
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with potential customers and other stakeholders to understand their needs.
- Translate these needs into deliverable offerings from the AI Trust service portfolio of Nemko Digital.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive business development.
Sales Leadership:
- Drive sales of all Nemko Digital services through your efforts and by collaborating with teams in local operations across various countries.
- Develop and lead sales initiatives to expand our market presence and secure high-value clients.
Team Collaboration and Insight Sharing:
- Collaborate closely with the Nemko Digital team, providing them with valuable market insights and customer feedback.
- Use this information to create and tailor offerings and solutions that meet customer needs effectively.
- Promote a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement within the business development team.
Partnership Development:
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships to enhance and expand Nemko Digital's capabilities and service portfolio.
- Identify and engage with potential partners that can complement and strengthen our AI Trust services.
- Negotiate and formalize partnership agreements that support Nemko Digital's strategic objectives.
Hard Skills
- Proven Business Growth Experience: Demonstrated expertise in driving business growth, with a focus on business development and selling Consulting, Advisory, and Assessment services, particularly in the GRC (Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance) domain. Deep understanding of market dynamics is essential.
- Regulatory Frameworks Familiarity: Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and standards related to digital technologies, especially artificial intelligence, is advantageous.
- Customer Relations and Market Insights: Ability to create and maintain excellent customer relations, converting customer needs and market insights into value propositions, service descriptions, and customer offerings that drive continuous business growth.
- TICC (Testing, Inspection, Certification, and Compliance) Industry Experience: Experience in the TICC industry, particularly in management systems or domains related to digital trust, is a significant plus.
- Educational Background: A university degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, or related fields. Alternatively, a proven track record in business development for consulting, advisory, or assessment services with a different university degree may be accepted.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required. Additional languages relevant to key markets of Nemko Digital are an advantage.
