We are hiring a Procurement DirectorSector Alarm is fast growing and one of Europe's leading safety providers. To meet our long-term goals and further strengthen our organization, we are looking for a seasoned Procurement Director. As Procurement Director you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the purchasing processes within Sector Alarm. This involves setting purchasing policies and overall management of purchasing processes across the group. You will have an independent and visible role in the organization, and you will be an important contributor to the achievement of Sector Alarm's future goals.
Key responsibilities:- Ownership of Procurement Processes: Manage all material procurement processes from start to finish.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms with key suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards, and delivery terms, incorporating technical and operational input from stakeholders as needed.
- Strategic Negotiation: Develop negotiation strategies and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to close deals with optimal terms.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement to drive strong performance continuously.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Develop, maintain, and follow up on supplier relationships (in cooperation with contract owners) to meet cost, quality, and delivery.
- Best Practices Implementation: Create and implement best practice purchasing vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to enhance business performance.
- Policy Ownership: Take ownership of the purchasing policy, guidelines, and associated documents. Serve as the primary contact for procurement-related questions, training, policy, and procedure interpretation and alignment.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance is embedded in procurement processes and support contract owners with applicable compliance and regulatory assessments.
- Contract Development and Administration: Oversee contract development and administration.
The position reports to the CFO and is part of the Group Finance Leadership Team. The Procurement Director will work closely and independently with Sector Alarm Senior Management across all functions and business units.
Who are you?We are seeking a candidate with a degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or a related field, combined with extensive relevant experience and a proven track record in strategic purchasing leadership. The role requires solid expertise in contract management and supplier relations, particularly within IT procurement. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, commercial insight, analytical abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively are essential. Excellent written and spoken English is required.
