Procurement Specialist Mobile Drilling Rigs

Contract period: 30.04.2025 - 28.05.2026
Location: Stavanger or Bergen

Main Tasks:
  1. As a Contract Manager/Procurement Specialist, you are responsible for Company's procurement activities related to establish and manage agreements.
  2. Holds the mandate to legally commit the Company to suppliers.
  3. In the assignments within DWI your everyday work you will be part of a dedicated team and do a wide range of tasks.
  4. Manage and follow-up of contracts and frame agreements, including handling of variation orders, amendments, option assessments, negotiations etc.
  5. Contribute to ensure agreement understanding and compliance (training of contract users).
  6. Safeguard correct use of the contract.
  7. Collaboration with internal partner/customers.
  8. Collaboration with suppliers and internal partners, including D&W business line.
  9. Ensure stakeholder management.
  10. Initiate and implement improvements.
  11. In the assignment within CS you will together with the business line ensure the best commercial agreements by setting and realising strategic directions and capitalise on market opportunities.
  12. Here you will take on strategic procurement responsibilities and challenging tasks.
  13. LEAD CONTRACT ESTABLISHMENT: Lead enquiry processes (strategy, enquiry, evaluation, negotiation) Implement and operationalize new agreements Framework agreements, project specific contracts and call offs.
  14. MANAGE AGREEMENT: Shape the future global contract portfolio through segment strategies together with business line and suppliers. Identify business cases and drive change in contract relationship to maximise value for company Ensure contract compliance, identify, and manage risk (SSU, commercial, financial, local requirements).
  15. Stakeholder management in relevant business line together with Company Representative (CR) and Contract Owner (CO).
  16. Contribute to correct and optimal use of agreements in collaboration with Company Representative, including supporting the business line.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor/Master's degree in supply chain management, finance, economics or law.
  2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within contracting work.
  3. Good communication skills (written and oral), in English and/or Norwegian.
  4. Qualities are performance driven, have a strong interest for commercial aspects, being cost-conscious, engaged and proactive, curious and have a high level of professional- as well as personal integrity.
  5. Contribute to an attractive, inspiring, healthy and secure working environment, share experiences and help others to succeed, and being a caring colleague.
