Oslo, Oslo County, Norway Scrive Full time

We Care, We Challenge, We Commit, We Collaborate

Join Scrive and be part of an international, fast-growing company headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. Collaborate with smart, caring, and driven colleagues across Europe as we shape the Scrive story.

The opportunity
We're now expanding our Data & Analytics capabilities and are looking for a versatile Data Analyst to join our small but impactful team. In this role, you'll take the lead in modernizing our reporting infrastructure, enhancing data pipelines, and acting as a critical link between data and the rest of the organization.

You'll work closely with stakeholders across Revenue, Product, Finance, Development, and more, with the shared goal of unlocking smarter decision-making through data. This is a hands-on role where you'll help shape our tools, processes, and the way we work with data—while ensuring accuracy, clarity, and accessibility every step of the way.

The role can be based fully remote anywhere in the EU, or hybrid/onsite at any of our offices (Stockholm, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Berlin, Oslo, Brno). You will report to the Director of R&D.

What you will do

  • Drive the migration of data reporting from Count to Python-based Streamlit applications
  • Maintain, improve, and troubleshoot existing reports during the transition period
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and define data requirements
  • Build and maintain a list of team-supported reports with clear ownership and expectations
  • Support better product tracking by implementing and promoting data contracts
  • Proactively identify data collection opportunities and work with developers to capture the right events
  • Refactor and document datasets to improve reliability, consistency, and usability

What we're looking for
To thrive in this role, you're a problem-solver who enjoys building sustainable, scalable data solutions and translating data into insights that matter. You are structured, communicative, and curious.

We expect you to bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency with SQL and data modeling concepts
  • Strong Python programming skills, particularly with data manipulation libraries (Pandas)
  • Experience with interactive dashboard development (Streamlit experience is a plus)
  • Ability to translate business questions into data requirements
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying data opportunities
  • EU Residency or work permit

Bonus points if you have:

  • Background in data governance or data quality initiatives
  • Experience with managing a Data pipeline
  • Knowledge of best practices in data documentation and metadata management
  • Experience with Software development in a team (releases, deployment, versioning, reviews)
  • Feeling for User Experience
  • Experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD

Our Tech Stack

  • Data Warehousing: Snowflake
  • BI Tools: Count.co, Tableau
  • Data Processing: DuckDB, dbt
  • Workflow Orchestration: Prefect
  • Collaboration: Jira, Confluence, Git, G Suite

Don't meet every single requirement? Apply anyway Studies show that women and people from underrepresented groups are less likely to apply for jobs unless they meet every qualification. At Scrive, we value diverse perspectives and encourage anyone who is excited about this role to apply.
