Are you interested in a sales manager position in an international company?

You will be part of a global team handling ferrosilicon sales from our plants in Norway, Iceland, Canada, and Paraguay, to customers in Europe, Asia, North America, and South America.

Most important areas of responsibility:

  1. Maintaining and developing customer portfolio and customer relations
  2. Keeping regular contact with customers via telephone or video meetings
  3. Offering and negotiating quarterly and annual sales contracts with customers
  4. Representing Elkem in major industry conferences
  5. Visiting customers at their sites regularly
  6. Updating sales plans, budgets, and forecasts on a regular basis

Qualifications required for the position:

  1. Minimum 5 years of industrial sales experience
  2. Hands-on and responsive to customer requests
  3. Good communication and people skills
  4. Able to socialize and build relationships
  5. Experience with negotiations and contracting
  6. Capable of learning and using different IT systems
  7. Fluent in English and a Scandinavian language (German and French is a plus)
  8. International experience is an advantage
