Our colleagues in Bergen have cutting-edge expertise in passive hydroacoustics. The technology provides environmental monitoring for the oil and gas industry, in addition to being well-positioned for growth in both the research and defence markets. Naxys Technologies has a strong technology base and handles the entire value chain from development, production, testing, commissioning, to operational follow-up. The business is centrally located at Hegreneset, a 5-minute drive from Bergen city center.

What you will be doing
- Architecture, design, implementation, simulation, verification, and system integration
- Implementation of FPGA technology for:
- High-Speed Data Collection
- Signal Processing
- Implementation of communication protocols
- Embedded processor, SoC, and SoftCore FPGA
- We use a Linux development environment and are looking for candidates with experience and familiarity with Linux.
We think you should have
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics/computer engineering/communication technology or equivalent
- Experience and good knowledge in FPGA development
- Interest in working in an interdisciplinary development environment
- Good understanding of digital design
- Desire and ability to receive and share knowledge
- Good knowledge of Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
