We are seeking a motivated senior consultant to contribute to securing societies' critical infrastructure. At mnemonic, we safeguard critical operations of organisations and businesses that provide many of society's most essential functions. Operational Technology (OT) systems are vital for much of our critical infrastructure, and therefore we are seeking skilled professionals to join our team. You will work directly with our customers to help them secure their industrial processes. You will guide them in identifying critical functions supporting their industrial processes through a risk-based approach. Further, you will provide actionable advice on IT, OT and physical security measures tailored to the customer needs. Additionally, you will serve as a trusted advisor and contribute significantly to internal OT projects.

What You Will Be Working With

• Manage comprehensive OT security projects.
• Develop and support the implementation of robust OT security frameworks, including security policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, guided by international standards such as IEC 62443, to effectively protect operational environments.
• Conduct security maturity assessments for our OT customers based on recognised standards and frameworks like NIST CSF, IEC 62443.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on OT security, guiding risk management and decision-making.
• Facilitate functional-based Business Impact Assessments to help customers map dependencies, critical for delivering tailored OT security solutions.
• Implement Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) that synergise IT and OT, enhancing overall resilience and compliance across all technological platforms.

What you will bring

The ideal candidate has a background from one of the following areas:

• Automation or OT systems in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Food Production, Transportation, and Utilities.
• Laws and regulations of critical infrastructure, and experience in implementing associated security requirements in projects.

Professional And Academic Qualifications

• Automation Engineering or a related field
• Risk assessment methodologies and security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27000, or IEC 62443
• Advanced industrial network architecture and design
• OT-related certifications like GICSP or GRID
• Physical security
• IT security

Personal Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communications skills in English
• Ability to give constructive feedback
• Leadership skills
• Productive
• Business understanding

Your future team

You will be joining our multidisciplinary National Digital Security team. Moreover, you will be part of the Governance, Risk & Compliance department (GRC). Together with your colleagues, you will work with customers on managing digital processes, security management, risk management and strategy, as well as compliance with privacy and security requirements. This means you get to be close to decision makers, and you will be considered a reliable sparring partner in strategic decisions. In GRC, you get the opportunity to work on projects and services across all disciplines in mnemonic.
