Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend inspections, surveillances, and witness tests as requested.
  • Ensure that Inspection Test Plans, checklists, Material Approval Requests, and all QA records are produced accurately and are robust. Coordinate with the Laboratory/Materials Quality Manager to ensure specifications are met when preparing Inspection Test Plans and Material Approval Requests.
  • Liaise with the DALUX FIELD Coordinator to replicate the checklists in DALUX FIELD forms and test the system before going live. Induct subcontractors, site engineers, and Design Site Representatives as required to ensure timely sign-off of check sheets.
  • Collaborate with Design Site Representative discipline leaders to resolve discrepancies in document or quality record preparation.
  • Provide technical advice when NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) are raised against defective delivered goods, instigating corrective actions or concessions in collaboration with suppliers and the Design Site Representative.
  • Assist the construction team in controlling subcontractors' work quality.
  • Support the Quality Coordinator in closing out NCRs and observations, and assist site engineers in capturing evidence of implementation.
  • Promote the closure of snagging lists within agreed time frames through site visits and provision of evidence.

Job Requirements:

  • Technical Degree in Engineering (Civil, Roads, Tunneling, or Bridge).
  • 2+ years of experience in quality dept. of complex infrastructural works.
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written) is required; proficiency in Norwegian is considered a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office, SharePoint, ShareFile, and Microsoft Teams.
