Projects & Engineering is an essential part of Odfjell Technology, boasting teams of highly skilled engineers, project managers, and support personnel situated in Bergen, Stavanger, Aberdeen, and Manila. Our unique current service offering has gained wide recognition in the industry, and we are now preparing to expand our business further.

We are, therefore, looking for a motivated, proactive, and ambitious Commissioning Engineer to join our journey. This is an onshore position, but offshore travel must be expected.

Key Qualifications And Personal Skills

  • Bachelor/Master of Science Degree in an engineering/technical relevant for the discipline (extensive experience can compensate for formal education)
  • Proficient with best practices, methodology, software and tools relevant for the discipline
  • Appreciation for diverse cultures and work environments
  • A collaborative mindset, capable of working with multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams, including other departments and external partners, to achieve project objectives
  • Comfortable working with a wide range of computer systems and software, with strong general IT skills
  • Experience from EPCIC and fixed offshore installations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Create commissioning procedures
  • Perform offshore commissioning
  • Handle punch-out
  • Set up Work Orders in Odfjell or client systems
  • Create boundary documents
  • Prepare for, and lead FAT's
  • Participate in design reviews
  • Work in IFS, SAP, & ProCoSys
