The role

We are now searching for a Product Development/Innovation Manager (PDM) as part of our AI innovation team. This role is central to facilitate close customer and market relationships in combination of domain in order to drive valuable process and concept innovation.

Together with the Product Manager, you will work on the product roadmap, describing and prioritizing epics and user stories. As PDM, you are coordinating the implementation, testing, and rollout of functionality with the development team and our data scientists. Experience with agile methodologies like scrum and a software development environment will enable you to contribute to further improve our planning and development processes.

Your main responsibilities include:

  1. Facilitate customer and market contact to describe and structure user requirements to address significant customer problems.
  2. Contribute to domain concept development, establishing our position as thought leader in our sector.
  3. Contribute to the concept development for new products and features.
  4. Organize coordination of requirements with development, design, and data science teams.
  5. Support the product manager in priorities for development to establish a customer value driven roadmap.
  6. Interact with other product teams and services for internal maturity building and supporting in-sale and implementation projects.
  7. Contribute to the AI governance and ethics dialogues for new AI-driven capabilities.

To succeed in your role we expect you to have:

  1. A hands-on, solution-focused start-up mentality to drive responsible innovation for the good of customers and the public.
  2. Strong customer orientation and business acumen, very good communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work independently and proactively.
  3. Solid understanding and ideally practical experience from working in public administration either in local or central government or other public agencies.
  4. Domain understanding from the public sector.
  5. Interest and ideally practical work experience from either municipality or central government sector.
  6. Experience with product management tasks and practices for gathering, describing, and organizing requirements towards development, ideally combined with experience in innovation management and concept development.
  7. Passion to continuously learn new things and aim higher, with curiosity in new technologies and concepts, like AI and analytics.
  8. Experience working in technical roles in complex product development and/or other software development projects.
  9. Good Nordic and English language skills.
