Føn Energy Services (Føn) is an independent service provider to the offshore industry. Føn comes with unmatched industrial backing from Akastor (Aker), The IKM Group, and DISA International, which allows us to set ambitious growth targets and offer our clients the highest quality of services. Føn currently employs close to 120 people and is present in Oslo, Stavanger, Ijmuiden / Amsterdam, Copenhagen, the UK, and Taiwan.

Demand for our services continues to grow and we are looking to expand our sales team in Stavanger with an associate level sales resource that is eager to develop their career in sales and business development within the O&G sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside an experienced sales team, gain valuable industry knowledge, and contribute to Føn's commercial success.

Please note that this is an on-site position in Stavanger, and applicants who are unable to meet this requirement will not be considered.

Purpose of the Position

  • Support the development and execution of a commercial strategy for the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Identify and engage with potential clients, pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Assist in customer engagement efforts, including lead generation, sales prospecting, and preparing proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor service offerings to meet customer needs.

Professional Experience / Qualifications

  • A university degree in business, sales, marketing, engineering, or a related field (relevant experience may compensate for education).
  • Interest in sales, business development, and customer relationship management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken (Norwegian is an advantage).
  • A team-oriented mindset with a drive to contribute to commercial growth.
