We are looking for a Test Engineer- Electronics

Job Description:

  • Create test procedures and write test reports on functional, environmental, and system operation mode testing of custom electronic designs.
  • Build test set-ups for functional verification of electronic boards such as power supplies, power switches, CPU/MCU boards, power line modems, back-planes, motor controllers, battery controllers, chargers, and IO modules.
  • Establish set-ups with automation to conduct environmental testing of electronics with temperature and mechanical exposure stress.
  • Perform qualification testing of electronics according to API 17F for Subsea Control System Electronics compliance.
  • Collaborate with board developers to secure DFT (Design For Test) requirements in product to implement testability in the product designs.
  • Work together with developers and reliability engineers to build ALT (Accelerated Life Time Testing) to create lifetime predictions.
  • Conduct failure analysis of critical failures in engineering, production, and field operation to improve product design and test coverage improvements.
Qualifications:
  • BSc or Technical vocational school in electronics, automation, cybernetics, or similar engineering.
  • Capable of a structural approach to solve problems.
  • Open-minded, speak professional English, and adaptable for working in a multicultural environment.
  • Continuously raising standards, innovative, and solution-oriented.
  • Curious with strong problem-solving and collaboration capabilities.
  • Having an interest in electronics is an additional advantage.
