As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in the New Product Development process, focusing on design, user experience, and product quality. You'll work with a talented cross-functional team to develop products that are durable, user-friendly, and environmentally conscious. Collaborating with product designers, external partners, and suppliers, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects.

Your responsibilities may include:
  1. Mechanical design of products, parts, and assemblies from concept to final realization.
  2. Contribute mechanical engineering expertise to innovation and new product development processes.
  3. Take responsibility for mechanical design in projects and provide support to other disciplines.
  4. Help improve internal processes and workflows within the Mechanical Design team to ensure quality in all parts of the process.
  5. Solve problems during the New Product Introduction and mass production phases, including strength and tolerance analysis.
We are looking for the following experience:
  1. Higher education within Mechanical Design Engineering and/or Product Design/Development with Engineering specialization.
  2. Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
  3. Relevant experience with 3D CAD modeling, 2D Drawing.
  4. Understanding of materials and associated production processes.
In addition, it is beneficial to have:
  1. Relevant experience with the development of consumer products, consumer electronics (high quality).
  2. Experience with PLM systems and procedures as well as enterprise supply chain operations.
  3. Relevant experience with DfX (Design for Excellence).
  4. Experience with development for mass production in Asia with high-quality standards (preferably from a relevant field).
