We deliver consultancy services within the oil and gas industry, high voltage cables, biogas and hydrogen, as well as civil engineering services and project administration.

We are now looking for a Senior Telecom Engineer for one of our customers based in Asker.

Responsibilities
  • Define and develop telecom philosophy, and design solutions for telecom sub-systems including remote operations, maintenance, monitoring, and new technologies.
  • Follow up telecom vendors and vendors' technical documentation.
  • Interface with other disciplines, suppliers, other installations, and clients.
  • Develop and complete engineering documents and data registers.
  • Participate and contribute to relevant test activities.
  • Define engineering documents.
  • Site support to fabrication yard.
Requirements
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree or relevant technical education. Relevant experience may compensate for a lack of formal education.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in telecom engineering and telecom system design activities within greenfield oil and gas projects on the Norwegian continental shelf.
  • Extensive knowledge of telecom design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, DNVGL, and IEC.
  • Ex course (less than 5 years old).
  • FSE course.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
