Supplier Relations Specialist

As a Supplier Relations Specialist, you will play an important role in shaping our supply chain strategy, maintaining critical supplier relationships and driving continuous improvements of processes and procedures. The position reports directly to the Procurement Manager and you will be part of setting the strategic direction of our procurement function.
Main Areas of Responsibility:
- Develop and manage relationships with key and strategic suppliers.
- Negotiate and maintain frame agreements with key and strategic suppliers.
- Source new suppliers to enhance competitiveness.
- Manage the pre-qualification process of suppliers, conduct supplier audits and maintain the approved vendor list.
- Collaborate closely with the sustainability team for supplier assessment, reporting and initiatives.
- Coordinate supplier performance assessments and address improvement opportunities.
- Provide input to procurement strategy during tender and project phases.
- Foster effective communication with Project & Commercial Teams and other internal departments.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of Procurement and Sub-Contracting experience in a multi-project, engineering environment, preferably within the Subsea industry.
- Experience and knowledge in the Renewables and/or Oil & Gas industry.
- Further education in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering.
- Familiarity and experience with sustainable procurement and ESG principles (Environment, Social & Governance).
- Strong legal and contractual awareness with proven contract management and negotiation skills.
