Qualification Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master degree within QHSE and/or Technical Safety or similar.
  • Relevant experience within Engineering can compensate for lack of higher education.
QHSE Responsibilities
  • Contribute to, and focus on continuous improvement in order to achieve the company's mission and objectives.
  • Ensure that focus will be directed towards security, environment, efficiency, quality, and competence according to the company's goals and guidelines.
  • Ensure that current processes and procedures for Quality assurance, Health, Security and Environment (QHSE) are observed.

QHSE is a common responsibility and impacts all employees.

Duties/Tasks
  • Be of support to project work and contribute to the development/implementation of tools and work processes within the area of responsibility.
  • Contribute to that at any given time required tasks are carried out in accordance with the requirements, specifications, and schedule.
  • Risk assessments such as HAZID, HAZOP, Change & Constructability analysis, Design Review, Change analysis, etc.
  • Risk identification and follow-up for Engineering projects.
  • Study and project execution within QHSE and/or Technical Safety.
  • ISO 14001 compliance and Audits.
  • ISO 9001 compliance and Audits.
  • Input to tenders.
  • Participate as QHSE Manager on yard stays at various locations.
  • Investigations of incidents, which may include offshore travel.
  • Establish and update relevant procedures/documents for QHSE discipline.
Client Relations (Internal and External)
  • Contribute to provide excellent customer service.
  • Be involved in the promotion of the section to customers internally and externally.
  • Contribute to attract and find new projects and assignments.
Social Responsibilities
  • Contribute to create a good working environment.
  • Contribute to recommend improvements, as well as record discrepancies with suggestions for corrective measures.
  • Work with management to develop own expertise.
Systems
  • Follow all applicable instructions and procedures to maintain a good quality and effectiveness of the work.
  • Use the systems and programs required and authorized by the company.
  • Initiate/notify all need reviewing and ordering of equipment and tools to implement all the tasks imposed.
